Who are we?

Best Of The Kimberley commenced operations in Broome, Western Australia in 1999.  The company was based in, and operated only from Broome until November 2012, when the current owners relocated to North-East Victoria for family reasons.  Whilst Best Of The Kimberley's head office is now located many miles from the Kimberley, we have staff based in Broome.   

With our long established connections, Best Of The Kimberley can plan your holiday and with our knowledge and experience, we will leave nothing to chance when arranging your itinerary.  

Our Experienced Travel Consultants

  • Our Director and Senior Travel Consultant, Rosemary McGuigan, has worked in the Kimberley tourism industry since 1998 - including being part owner and operator of Broome Weddings and Kimberley Events Management for 10 years.  In October 2004 she, and her then business partner, purchased Best Of The Kimberley from the original owner.  In July 2009, Rosemary took over full ownership and operation of Best Of The Kimberley and is fully 'hands on'!
  • Our Senior Travel Consultant, Tina Coate, hails from a pioneering tourism family and has worked in the Kimberley tourism industry for over 20 years. Being based in Broome, Western Australia she has worked in numerous tourism roles over those years and has had many experiences, and with her love of the Kimberley, strong product knowledge and friendly customer service, Tina will generally be your first point of contact with Best Of The Kimberley.

We regularly travel in the Kimberley to keep up with any changes, and take tours, stay in accommodation and self drive hire vehicles throughout the region, so we experience what you will experience.

Why deal with us?

We are a small, family owned business that is Australian owned and operated.  When you call us, you will deal with the same consultant each time.  This gives us the chance to develop a strong understanding of what your travel requirements are.  We pride ourselves in the personal attention we provide to all of our clients; whether it be for just a single tour booking or arranging an extensive itinerary.  This is what sets us apart from general retail travel agents; we specialise in areas that we know intimately!

Best Of The Kimberley does not arrange flights as over many years we have found that our clients prefer to arrange their own to suit their personal arrangements.  However, we do work closely with other travel industry colleagues who can arrange flights if you require assistance.
