Itinerary: Kununurra - Purnululu National Park (Bungle Bungle Range) - Kununurra

Flight from Kununurra departs at 9.00am. Fly over the Ord River, Lake Argyle, Lisadell Station, Osmond Ranges, Texas Downs Station and circuit the Bungle Bungle Range. When landed, transfer to 4WD for a tour of the spectacular Beehive Domes and into Cathedral Gorge.

Return flight over Argyle Diamond Mine, the Carr Boyd and Ragged Ranges before landing in Kununurra at approx. 5pm.

Tour C - Bungle Bungle & Lake Argyle Scenic Flight

Description: Departs 6am, 9am and 2.30pm
Itinerary: Duration approx 2.5 hour tour (flight time approx 2 hours)

The flight path from Kununurra to the Bungle Bungle takes in the Kimberley's best icons. You fly past the Diversion Dam, Lake Kununurra and over the Ord River Irrigation Area before crossing the Carr Boyd Ranges, which holds back the waters of the inland sea, Lake Argyle. Aerial views of the Ord Dam and the full expanse of Lake Argyle take around 20 min. Fly past Lissadell Homestead, over the Osmand Range and on to the Bungle Bungle where you have the best views of this ancient mountain range for approx 20 min. Orbit the Argyle Diamond Mine on the return journey.

You then land at the Bellburn Airstrip at the Bungle Bungle where you transfer to your helicopter for an exhilarating, low level flight over inaccessible and fragile areas of the Purnululu National Park. Reboard your aeroplane for your return trip to Kununurra via the Osmand Range and including an orbit over the Massive Argyle Diamond Mine – the world’s largest supplier of diamonds.

A short drive will take you past the amazing Beehive Domes.
