KAS offers a variety of demonstrations, competitions and workshops to be held around the grounds over the weekend.
Highlights include novelty events, like the Dog Show, Watermelon Olympics, Wheelie Bin Races and Hay Stacking. There will also be the usual array of sideshow rides and stalls, showbags, kid's entertainment, machinery exhibits, farming displays, cattle and equestrian and various exhibits.

The 2012 Lake Argyle Swim will be held on the 5th May 2012. The race departs from a deep water start at the heart of Lake Argyle and finishes at the Jetty, Lake Argyle Resort.
The distance of the race is 10 or 20 kilometres.

The Argyle Diamonds Ord Valley Muster is a community celebration of the talented East Kimberley region, highlighting its cultural diversity, stunning landscape, and friendly, country hospitality.
It began in 2001 as a simple one night affair – a dinner in the outback for local businesses – but the Ord Valley Muster has grown at an incredible pace, and now features over 50 events across an exciting two-week festival. The Muster’s major draw-card, the Airnorth Kimberley Moon Experience, continues to receive international attention. Staged on the banks of the majestic Ord River, this magical concert attracts over 4000 visitors each year.
